Christmas Celebrations - 2019
On 20th December 2019 we, Government High School Vattavada, celebrated Christmas in all its joy and happiness.
Christmas brings cheer and love and we celebrated it with the same fervour, spreading the message of love and joy among our children. Christmas cakes and gifts were distributed to the students.

A free eye check-up camp
In our school, A
free eye check-up camp was conducted by Idukki District Medical
Office medical team under the leadership of Dr. Maniyamma
on 7th November - 2019. This is done in order to create
awareness about eye related disorders and also early detection, if
any.

New school building and Smart Class Rooms inaugurated at GHSS Vattavada
November 06, 2019 was indeed an
auspicious day for all at Govt. HSS,Vattvada. The inaugural function
of the School buildings and Smart class rooms were held today. Smt.
Baby Sakthivel, District Panchayath Division Member,
Smt. R. Lakshmi, Munnar Wild Life Warden
and Sri. P.
Ramraj, the Vattavada Grama Panchayath President
were inaugurated the new class room buildings, smart class room for
HSS section and smart class room for UP section respectively.

The programme was started with a silent prayer.
The School Principal Sri. Sunil M S formally welcomed
all the dignitaries present on the dais. Sri. Alagarraj,
Education Standing Committee
Chairman, presided over the function. The special speech
was delivered by the Vattavada Grama Panchayath President Sri.
Ramaraj. In the end, Sri. Mathivanan S, the School
Headmaster offered a vote of thanks to all. He thanked all the
invited guests and participants for gracing the occasion by their
solemn presence. It was a happy day to all.
